Alright Stranger

Seems we haven't messed around with the car for a while.

How far booked up are you mate?

im going to be taking my time(not to long im hoping though) but need something to aim at

Also when we spoke we sorted out price for run in map etc plus got to add in fuel. I was wondering about having 2 maps on the car. one for 99 and one for 95ron

Whats the price for the second map please mate and is it able to be done on same day or do we do 95 ron map then empty and fill with 99 another day?

Plus i will more than likely want to do it on rollers as i want to limit the tq from the 2.5

Cheers

Dave

Hi Dave,

if roller then I am normally at Charlies every couple of weeks and can usually fit people in with little notice there.

what ecu?

differing fuel map can be a pain.. usually say 99ron and 99ron with meth as two maps is not too bad as you do the 99 and then add the meth and top tank up and do the meth one.. but 95ron is fairly horrible consistency wise having played with it myself.. also need a couple of tanks of 95ron through it as the chemicals used in the 99 tends to hang around for a bit so if you intended running 95 most of the time with occasional tank of 99 etc..

Simon

is knock the same as simtec? flashes CEL light? I have a knock sensor on the car. or does it retard ignition if it detects knock as a fail safe?
