Talking Le Mans 2007 - Anyone going?

Evenin!

Just wondering if anyone was going to make the trip to the Le Mans 24hr this year?

I'm going with a mate of mine, travelling over on the 7am ferry to Boulogne and then hitting the load pedal all the way to Le Mans !

Then lots of

All in all it's shaping up to be yet another top weekend!

You should bring them along!!!! At least if they start giving you grief you can just stand closer to the track and then claim you didn't hear them!!

No, seriously, I'm a lucky git in that I don't have kids, so can pretty much do what I want! You'll have to plan a visit when they have all grown up!

Cheers matey! It's about the only holiday I'll get this year, so I'm gonn aenjoy every second of it!

In fact the drive across France is almost as good as watching the race itself Chasing Ferraris and GT3 Porschas is dead good fun!!

I bet man.

Bet you can't wait for the sound of the Panoz Esperante's and the Vettes.

They sound mental on full song and then down changes....wooow.

So want to go now.....

Talking

One of the best noises is the rolling start - standing on the start/finish straight and you get the whole field coming past at full chat!!

Makes all the hairs on your arms stand up!!!

If people are up for it we should arraneg next year, so we all book onto the same ferries and camp sites! A Surrey Scoobies Le Mans 2008 Trip! Sign up here!!!

I would be interested in a le mans trip 2008.

Have seen many F1 starts from the Pit A Grandstand at silverstone and that was more than enough to make you heart miss a beat!

They're already taking bookings for 2008, Going from pompey to cherbourg Wed 3 hrs sea cat works out about 215 miles door to site. Cheap beer Horse burgers, Hairy pits. I'm a tart though i have a go ped 50cc 2 speed, Got down the Mulsane straight last year about 3 m from the track 200 mph I'll get myself sorted and put the pics onto disc if anyone wants a copy have some good picks of the classics as well. Lokk at the pics in the dungeon to see what we did with beer bottles. We're planning on something better this year

I went this year and had a great time dispite the rain and the mud.
Saw plently of other UK scoobies and had some fun on the drive to and from Le Mans.
Roll on next year.

The rain was great made the racing more eventful. Saw the Lola loose it's wheel at tetre rouge. Excellant, Brit Car is in sept at silverstone may be camping...
